JOIN US FOR INTERNATIONAL CREDIT UNION DAY-OCTOBER 19, 2023  

International Credit Union Day has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948.  The day is recognized to reflect upon the credit union’s movement’s history and to promote its achievements.  It is a day to honor those who have dedicated their lives to the movement, recognize the hard work of those working in the credit union industry and show members our appreciation.  This year’s theme is “Celebrating 75 Years” Join us at the credit union on Thursday, October 19^th to celebrate International Credit Union Day.  We will be serving free food and drinks from 11:00am to 2:00pm with a free boxed lunch being served with the help of Sweet Thingz Cupcakery Boutique. (Tickets will be required to receive the free boxed lunch.) (Credit Union will hand out tickets.) There will be a drawing for cash prizes!

THANKSGIVING/BLACK FRIDAY, CHRISTMAS LOAN SPECIAL

The holiday season is once again upon us, and the Credit Union is getting ready for the holiday season.  Let the credit union help you increase your spending power!  From October 16, 2023, thru December 22, 2023, the Credit Union will be offering a new Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas loan special for $3,00 for 15 months @ 10%.  (All Loans Are Subject To Credit Approval & Credit Union Discretion.)  (New loans will not be added to existing loans.) (When you get a Holiday Loan, you are automatically entered into a drawing to have a chance to win a prize package.  Drawing will be held Friday, December 15, 2023).

 

NEW SKIP-A-PAY PROGRAM

Did something unexpected happen?  Loss of job, divorce, death, etc…  If an emergency hit suddenly then the Credit Union can help. Beginning January 2, 2024, the Credit Union will start a new skip-a-pay program for our membership. 

Qualifications for this program is as follows:

To qualify for this program, you must:

 

• Complete a brief “Skip-A-Pay” application for each loan you wish to skip.
• Each member can “Skip-A-Payment” twice in a 12-month span.
• You must be a member in good standing and your loans must be current.
• For each requested loan, there must be at least six months of satisfactory payment history.
• Loans cannot be secured by Real Estate.
• Back-to-back months cannot be skipped.
• Each “Skip-A-Pay” application is subject to management approval.
• A $50 processing fee is required per requested “Skip-A-Pay”.

 

 

 

CHRISTMAS CLUB CHECKS

If you have a Christmas Club account, the funds will be automatically deposited into your credit union savings account on November 3, 2023.  Please call or stop by the office to withdraw your money.  There will be a drawing for all members who have not made any withdrawals from this account all year.

 

CREDIT UNION MOBILE PHONE APP

Banking at your fingertips!  Check out the Credit Union’s new mobile phone app for I Phone & Android cell phones.  To access our new mobile app:

• Go to APP store/Play store
• Search National Employees Federal CU
• Download the APP for free
• Follow the prompts with setting up e-mail and security questions
• Your log on ID will be your account # provided by the credit union

VEHICLE REFINANCE & VEHICLE INSURANCE PAID FOR 6 MONTHS!

If you have an auto loan with another lender and didn’t finance with the credit union, now’s your chance.  Starting October 16, 2023, with approved credit, the credit union will match or beat your current interest rate and will finance 6 months of your vehicle insurance premium in with the loan.  The credit union will then cut a check to your insurance company for the 6 months’ worth of insurance premium payments.  Just think! You won’t have to worry about your insurance premium for 6 straight months by taking advantage of the loan special.

To qualify for this special loan, you must provide:

• Vehicle loan payoff, address, and account number.
• A vehicle insurance statement from your insurance company reflecting 6 months of vehicle insurance premiums.
• Your auto loan must be current, and your credit union accounts must be in good standing to receive this loan special.
• This offer does not apply to refinances of existing credit union auto loans.
• Once you’re approved, we will take care of transferring the loan and insurance payment for you.

KID’S CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

During the month of December, any child 12 and under who opens a new or makes a $25 deposit into his or her existing share account will have it matched by the Credit Union up to $25.

CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT

The Credit Union is currently offering certificates of deposit @ 3.00% for 6 months and 5.00% for 12 months with a minimum deposit of $5,000.
